Today we had Sriracha-Bacon-Onionrings
Very delicious and a perfect side dish on every BBQ party.
Recipe is from „BBQ aus Rheinhessen“ one of the best youtube channels about BBQ (in my opinion)
Ingredients of the sauce:
- 4 Tbs honey
- 3 Tbs Sriracha Sauce (depends how hot you like)
- 1 Tbs Soja sauce (salty)
I cut the onions in thumb thick pieces and used always two of the onion layers per ring.
To be honest while I was preparing the onion rings I had on of my biggest fits of rage. As I removed the first layer of the onions I noticed that some where brown and unusable .
Others where damaged somehow so it was not possible to cut off perfect rings because the rings where broken.
So keep in mind that it could be tricky to prepare.
Finale I can say „This onion ring version tastes damn good“
